We’re excited to share that Vybe 400, the AI-driven chiller optimization platform from Vybe Energy, has been selected as a semi-finalist under the FY25 Request for Emerging Technologies for the GSA Green Proving Ground.
Vybe 400 will now advance to the next stage of review for potential testbed validation through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Proving Ground in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE).
What This Means
The GSA Green Proving Ground program evaluates innovative building technologies in real federal facilities to determine whether they deliver measurable energy savings, cost reductions, and operational benefits.
Advancing to semi-finalist status positions Vybe 400 for potential third-party validation within federal buildings — a meaningful milestone for demonstrating performance at scale in complex, mission-critical environments.
About Vybe 400
Vybe 400 is designed to optimize existing building infrastructure — particularly energy-intensive systems like chillers — using AI-based setpoint optimization, predictive analytics, and real-time decision modeling. The platform integrates with existing building automation systems and operates as a plug-and-play control layer, delivering measurable energy savings without requiring costly equipment replacement.
Federal facilities represent a compelling application for intelligent optimization, given their scale, diversity of assets, and mandate to reduce energy intensity and operating costs.
