Vybe Energy has been awarded a $100,000 Commonwealth Commercialization Fund (CCF) grant from the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC) to help advance its all-in-one energy management platform.
The funding will support continuing hardware testing and pilot deployments as Vybe builds out its flagship system — a unified platform that integrates and intelligently manages a facility’s energy use, on-site generation, and storage assets through a single controller.
Vybe’s AI-driven software uses machine learning to dynamically forecast building loads, optimize onsite energy flows, and maximize utility bill savings. It also opens the door for customers to participate more actively in wholesale energy markets.
According to Founder and CEO Nisha Thirumurthy, the platform fills a gap in the market by bringing traditionally siloed systems — HVAC, lighting, EV charging, batteries, and more — together under one smart control layer, reducing energy costs while supporting independent and sustainable operations.
VIPC’s CCF program has invested tens of millions in Virginia-based startups and inventors, helping early-stage companies validate technology and build market traction.
